On Tuesday, we presented a lovilee Movember style shoot by photographer, Yolande of YSP and stylist Simone Kruger of Yellow Papaya. Today we give you the recipes that have used by Simone. Mini Chili con carne with Mielie bread
For the chili con carne: makes 12
- 250 g Beef Mince
- 100g Jam tomato
- 1 small red onion
- two cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp rissies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp gerooktesout
- 1 eetlepelolyfolie
For the Mielie Bread:
- 1 cup polenta
- ¾ cup flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 6 EL Butter
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup canned corn
For the Chili con carne:.
- The onions and garlic until the onions over sea
- Add all the spices and cook for another minute.
- Add the mince and fry until it is brown.
- add the tomatoes and a further 45 minutes.
- Stir frequently, to ensure that the meat does not burn in the pot.
For the Mieliebread:
- Mix all the dry ingredients together
- In a separate mixing bowl the eggs, buttermilk and corn together <. li> Add the dry ingredients to the mixture, mix again.
- Location the mixture in an oven pan for 30-35 minutes, until the leading brown.
Mini pita with falafel, hummus, tzatziki & amp; # 038 Eggplant tends to make 12

- Prepared produced hummus
- Mini Pita bread (Woolworths)
- 3 Mini eggplant, sliced very finely, in the longitudinal
For the falafels:
- 1 tin chickpeas
- two cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Italian parsley
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 500 ml oil for frying purposes
- Mix the chickpeas, garlic, cumin, salt, parsley and flour in a blender until smooth.
- The mixture will thicken.
- In tablespoons batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- Get rid of with a spatula and kitchen towel to absorb some of the oil itself.
- After frying falafel, fry, 5 slices eggplant until brown.

For the tzatziki:
