Located on the edge of a 10m drop into a ravine in Vindo, on an island in the Stockholm archipelago in Sweden, Features south / east exposure was defined by the ridge topography. Created architect, Max Holst, the best of the place through the development and the construction of a wooden building property that sits on a black concrete bases. This increases the home in the trees, feeding an eye level view of the most Pines. This tree house effect is continued almost entirely covered with the interior of the house with wood. On the outside Dark woods covered the facade and a covered deck leads into the living area of kitchen, living and dining rooms.
From the Homeland "; s deck, still a walkway to a small shed that is stacked with firewood higher also. Shed has a fireplace and wrap-around decks views down into the gorge below.
On the other side of the house a short staircase leads down to a sheltered terrace. Here is the grill station and only after Deck is set, an additional stack of firewood piled neatly under two trees.
The wrap-around deck is located in the same timber in the covered uses exterior decking. This is where the view of the canopy of trees is truly spectacular and the balustrade that surrounds the deck is clean and simple in order not to interrupt the view.
The wrap-around deck is clearly visible through the windows of the residential zone. The interior is in sight-tongue and groove wood panels disguised to harmoniously blend into the forest-scape of residence in order. The furniture is the same tones as the wooden floor is maintained to support walls and ceiling emphasize the green of the trees and on the tree property implications.
The kitchen cabinetry is veneered tonewoods in far more middle and the counters are a black solid surface. The only pop colors comes from the countertops, the vent pipe above the stove, the dark brown pendant over the dining table and the pillow on the couch. The wooden beams provide a repeating pattern that is included in the pillow.
A wide hallway leads from the living area in the sleeping position. The hall also serves as a playback position for the young people, their bedrooms have joined him.
Acting a buffer between the living and sleeping sections of the residence are a bathroom and a sauna. The two room Sauna is a holistic place to loosen up and relax, even if still enjoy the treetop views from the lounge area
The walls in the hot area of the sauna are clad in wood with a black walnut stain, while the wooden floors keep their light generally blank.
At the other end of the hall is the master bedroom. The owners have to keep tidy for the spacious room, furnishing it with the required products from bed, bedside tables and lighting. The simple minimalist strategy to this room, the homeowner a place to unwind and relax before drifting off into a blissful slumber surrounded by nature.
