If we didn 't know that this house is located in Barcelona'; s Vallvidrera residential area, we could just feel that it's somewhere on the Mediterranean coast, overlooking the sea. The Mediterranean really feel represented by the all-white, seemingly without a roof outside, geology and slope of the land. To get a maximum interior space, YlaB Architectos have designed the residence as a compact 3-volume level. The varied geometry of the house begins with a cube whose each face has divided into 4 areas. Then, how to create a 3-dimensional game, these facets have been pushed and pulled in different directions to give the final geometry of the property. The orientation of the surfaces do not randomly, on the one hand in particular aim to bring the most all-natural light and the city, and on the other side in order to generate the privacy of the owners. Since the plot is quite small and located in a crowded neighborhood that privacy was 1 of the main criteria in the design of the property. The upper surfaces of the cube were pushed up to the roofing type. The truth that will handle the roof exactly the same as the rest of the house, in matt white, is a fantastic unit to the architecture. In addition, the fixed windows and the white perforated aluminum shutters complete alignment with the facades, in an impeccable geometry. The main entrance is located on the middle level, where the space between one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining area divided. The kitchen and dining area benefit from a double height ceiling, a wood-paneled wall support. On the upper floor, on the ceiling and behind the paneled wall there is the master bedroom and bathroom. The semi-buried to reduce level consists of utility rooms, living room and an independent studio, each with direct access from the garden.
