" The site is a medium-sized block in Brighton East , with a recent story brick art deco house from the road. The task consisted in the existing bathroom and bedroom to renovate, an additional master bedroom with bathroom, as properly as the development of new residential and outdoor locations with strong physical and visual connections to the outdoor facilities.

Views to and through the rooms were critical considerations, so that young people could be monitored from a variety of rooms each inside and outside. Adjacent to the site is a private tennis club, which is just behind clearly visible, and the house is really exposed to this website. Since the customers are active club members, overlooking the club from the interior and the west terrace presents exclusive design options and allows the site to extend visually to this area because, although the tennis courts were personally been.

living spaces are punctuated with a north courtyard, creating a private outdoor space, which is shielded from the views of the tennis club, so beautiful all the northern sun, to the numerous living rooms and to penetrate kitchen. Residential areas were consciously designed to stay versatile as either a game room, study, other residential locations or retreats. So, how to change the dynamics of family members in the course of time, the spaces can adapt accordingly.

The connection with the deco facade was also considered. The linear detailing on the street facade fireplace is a keyword for the decorative wood structure on the new extension. The use of wood refers also be able Bayside providing a dialogue between the S-facade and a coastal style strategy backwards referencing its dual context. "
